Xerox Focus Forward: A Road Show with 45:1 ROI

Xerox Focus Forward was a live, Xerox-owned thought leadership event series. The one-day event platform was tailored and delivered ten times over seven months in key cities throughout the U.S. Featuring national-caliber speakers (usually Bill Taylor, cofounder of Fast Company) and local business experts, Focus Forward promised “no sleepy slideshows” and did not disappoint.


What changed: 1,027 prospects attended. More than $70 million in signings were attributed to the events, resulting in 45:1 ROI.

Xerox Rochester International Jazz Fest Sponsorship Activation Employees, Customers and Prospects Get Jazzed

Each year the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival draws thousands of artists and over 150,000 attendees to a nine-day festival. As title sponsor, Xerox had a chance to create awareness, showcasing its products and services. Roberts drove event activation through live, on-site activity and a mobile app, connecting visitors with the Xerox brand.


What changed: More than 1,200 concertgoers downloaded the JazzFinder app, hundreds engaged with the Find Your Jazz game, and employee pride and recognition achieved an all-time high.

MasterCard PayPass Wristband Pilot at Giants Stadium

Payment pioneer MasterCard wanted to share a new way to pay at a packed football stadium. They chose to roll out a unique wristband payment device at the Peyton Manning vs. Eli Manning game at Giants Stadium. Roberts helped execute the winning strategy with signage, packaging, and promotional instructions.


What changed: 5,000 wristbands distributed. 95.5% were used in concessions that day. And 83% of users said it was “easier and quicker than cash.”

To increase awareness of their business process capabilities and drive the message about how Xerox simplifies the way work gets done, Xerox created simple@work, a two-day event in March 2014. With help from Roberts, Xerox brought together brilliant minds, dynamic speakers, industry leaders, and customers.


What changed: Secured Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sir Ken Robinson for keynote sessions. More than 1,000 clients and Xerox executives attended. Perceptions changed and business signings continue to roll in.

Buffalo Bills Training Camp Engaging B2B Fans at Buffalo Bills Training Camp

Xerox had a long-standing sponsor relationship with the Buffalo Bills. When the NFL team moved its training camp to St. John Fisher College, Xerox upped its game to engage sports fans before the season even began. Roberts helped create photo opportunities, game schedule giveaways, custom-printed trading cards, and more.

How to Make a Splash at Weftec Establishing Media Coverage and an Engaging Trade Booth
